How can I purchase the POLAR Assessment?
You can purchase the POLAR assessment an unlimited number of times on the official Polar Assessment website.
Each purchase grants you an Activation Code, which can be used for 1 assessment.
Can 1 POLAR Assessment be used by multiple people?
The POLAR assessment is designed for individual students.
1 assessment can only be completed by 1 person.
After completion, both students and parents can view the report in their respective accounts under "My Account → My Assessments."
Can 1 POLAR Assessment be taken multiple times?
Each assessment can only be completed once.
However, a single account can purchase assessments an unlimited number of times.
If there are multiple children in your family or a child wishes to take the assessment multiple times, parents are advised to purchase the necessary number of assessments based on actual needs. Parents can view all reports under "User Center → Report Center."
Are refunds possible?
If the Activation Code has not been used, you can contact Customer Service to apply for a refund.
If the activation code has already been used, refund will NOT be possible, even if the assessment has not started.
What are the features of a Parent Account?
If you select "Parent" when creating your account, your account will be defined as a parent account.
With a Parent accounts, you can purchase POLAR assessments for an unlimited number of times, receiving separate Activation Codes for each purchase. Parents can share the code(s) with their children, who can activate them via their "Student Account" to begin the assessments.
Parent accounts do NOT have access to the assessment-taking function.
The "My Account → My Assessments" in a parent account displays all purchased assessments, including their progress and corresponding reports.
What are the features of a Student Account?
If you select "Student" when creating your account, your account will be defined as a student account.
With a Student account, you can also purchase assessments for an unlimited number of times, receiving separate Activation Codes for each purchase.
With a Student accounts can also use activation codes (shared by parents) to activate assessments via "My Account → My Assessments" and begin the assessment process.
Student accounts can only view the assessments purchased by that account or those shared via activation codes, along with corresponding reports.
Do accounts expire?
Your registered membership account is permanently valid.
All reports can be permanently viewed under "My Account → My Assessments".
What are the components of the assessment, and is there anything I should keep in mind during the assessment?
The POLAR Assessment consists of 7 modules, each with a designated time limit (timers are displayed).
The 7 modules can be completed in one sitting or split across multiple sessions.
If a module is not completed within the specified time, the remaining questions in that module will no longer be accessible.
The assessment progresses sequentially and linearly, and you cannot revisit previously answered questions.
Where should I take the assessment?
As your General Aptitudes (cognitive skills) will be assessed, please choose a quiet, distraction-free environment, and prepare thoroughly before starting.
What are the device/system requirements for the assessmen?
The assessment must be completed on a computer; mobile devices are not supported.
There are no specific requirements for the computer or network, but it is recommended to update your browser to the latest version before starting.
How long does the assessment take?
The POLAR Assessment uses advanced IRT technology, with 260–270 questions in total.
Each module takes 15–20 minutes to complete (there are 7 modules in total).
The total assessment time is between 90 to 110 minutes.
Will previously answered questions be saved if the assessment is interrupted?
Yes, the assessment supports resuming from where you left off. You can restart your browser and continue answering the current module.
What are the differences between the online report and the physical report?
Both reports include the same sections, covering key sections such as "Your Top Subject Area Matches", "The Ability Profiler", "Understanding Your Top Matches".
The online report is an extensive database that allows deep exploration by specific abilities or individual subject areas.
The physical report condenses the most relevant core content for the student and includes a detailed map of 54 subject areas for focused exploration.
The online report is available immediately upon test completion in "My Account → My Assessments."
The physical report can be requested after completing the test, please contact our Customer Service Team for more details.
How can I book an Online Consultation Session?
After completing the assessment, you can book a 1-on-1 online consultation session. Each report card has a booking button on it.
